One week ago, news about parole approval for Joe Lopez was very well received by his fans. Yesterday, Thursday, Super Tejano was at the press conference held by the Lopez family and his attorney, Bill Haberna and Joe’s manager Sandra Trevino to provide details on Joe’s parole and what the near future looks like for him.
After being sentenced to 32 years of incarceration in 2006 and already serving 10 years Joe was approved for parole. The Lopez family is hopeful on having Joe home in time for Mother’s Day in May.
Joe Lopez will probably not take the stage until a year from now, but will be able to record numerous songs of the 180 that he wrote during his incarceration.
It was also announced that soon there will be a reality show to be produced by Joe, his brother Lorenzo and his family.
