A GoFundMe page has been set up in support of The Tejano Roots Hall of Famer as he undergoes treatment for Cancer.
Ramon has been with fourth-stage chronic kidney disease, according to his family. His doctor discovered a tumor in his left kidney and due to health risks surgery has been ruled out. The Tejano legend will undergo other methods with his doctor in San Antonio to remove the tumor.
According to the GoFundMe page, the Page was created to help with expenses from lodging, doctor appointments & treatment for Cancer, which will be costly for the family from his home in South Texas, and a fundraiser has been established to help with those costs. A concert fundraiser is also planned to help with needed proceeds.
